Ronnie Sawyer is a member of George Poveromo's "A-Team" of fishing guides. He was born and raised on Green Turtle Cay in the Bahamas, and has been guiding professionally for over 24 years (his father was the first fishing guide on the island). He is a light-tackle and fly-fishing specialist and has been featured several times in Salt Water Sportsman. Ronnie knows the local fishing areas extremely well.. He has caught bonefish up to 14 pounds, and knows how to locate and catch them in any conditions. When he's not guiding fishing trips, Ronnie commercially fishes for lobster.
